Crisis Communications

We developed and executed a crisis communications plan to ensure transparent and effective messaging during critical situations. This included:

  • Drafting emergency notifications for school closures, keeping families informed in real-time.

  • Writing incident response updates to address sensitive situations with accuracy and empathy.

  • Providing proactive media statements to manage narratives and maintain public trust.

Branding & Rebranding

​We strengthened the district’s identity through innovative branding and rebranding projects:

  • Created the district’s first-ever brand and style guide to ensure cohesive and professional communication.

  • Led the rebranding of University K-12 Academy and Birney K-8 School, including visual identity and messaging strategy.

  • Unified communications for the merger of MacArthur K-8 University Academy and University Middle and High School Academies.

  • Effectively communicated the closure of Vandenberg World Cultures Academy to stakeholders.

Digital & Social Media Marketing

We leveraged digital platforms to amplify the district’s successes and connect with stakeholders:

  • Designed creative billboards, radio ads, and bus advertisements to boost enrollment.

  • Launched targeted social media campaigns.

  • Increased engagement through daily updates and interactive content, including contests and recognition campaigns.

Internal & External Communications

Our strategic approach to communication ensured consistent and impactful messaging for all stakeholders, including:

  • Executive Communications: Drafted all communications for district leadership, including the superintendent, ensuring clarity and alignment with the district’s mission and vision.

  • Staff Engagement: Developed newsletters, superintendent updates, and detailed event plans to keep internal teams informed and prepared.

  • Family Outreach: Drafted timely updates for families, including emergency notifications, school closure announcements, and incident responses, ensuring transparency and trust.

Community Engagement

To enhance engagement, we planned and executed large-scale events, including:

  • The Back to School Bash, District Open House, and the State of the District, attracting families and boosting enrollment.

  • Organizing high-profile visits, such as Vice President Kamala Harris’ visit and Penn State football coach recruitment event.

  • Creating viral social media campaigns, increasing student participation and community pride.
